An Acrostic poem for Adrienne Cornish

Written

Action, cameras, start it rolling on a

Dramatic story of a workaholic.

Running from morn till night

Investing herself and her

Energy to clean, cook and straighten.

Nothing left undone or overlooked

Never finished, always more.

Every day something old and something new.

Commence again and do over one more time.

Olympian effort to clean the Aegean stable.

Run the vacuum cleaner, swing the mop

No spot of dust missed.

Impressive to a white glove inspection.

Slave to cleanness.

Hero to even to Marta, her maid.

Notes
Learned about this type of poetry in Trinidad talking to David Mason. Just lots of fun to see if a single picture can be crammed into the letters of a name
